Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and JoCoding, Inc. (“we”, “us”) for the Lilt app and the lilt.jocoding.io website. Lilt is published under the Wyverse Labs name. By buying, downloading, or using Lilt, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

What Lilt is
Lilt is a native Mac app that adds perspective, blur, and shadow to your desktop as you move the MacBook lid. It is a visual effect layered over your own desktop. It is not a productivity, safety, or data-integrity tool, and it is not intended for any use where a rendering error could cause harm.
Requirements
Lilt needs macOS 14 or later, an Apple silicon MacBook with a compatible lid angle sensor, and the macOS Screen Recording permission. The effect will not run without all three. Please confirm your Mac meets these requirements before you buy — the requirements are stated on the product page, and a Mac without a compatible hinge sensor cannot run the effect at all.
Your licence
When you buy Lilt we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on Macs you own or control. You are buying a licence to use the app, not the app itself. Your licence continues for as long as you keep the copy you downloaded, unless it is terminated under these terms.
You may not resell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the app or your download link; remove or alter any copyright or attribution notices; or reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.
Price, payment, and taxes
Lilt is a one-time purchase of US$1.99. It is not a subscription and there is nothing to cancel or renew. Checkout is handled by Stripe; we do not receive or store your payment card details. Prices are in US dollars. Any sales tax, VAT, or similar charge that applies to your purchase is shown at checkout or added by Stripe, and your bank may apply its own currency conversion or foreign transaction fee. We may change the price of Lilt at any time, but never for a purchase you have already completed.
Delivery
Delivery is electronic and immediate. After Stripe confirms your payment, the thank-you page verifies your checkout session and gives you a download link for Lilt.dmg. There is no account to create. Keep your receipt from Stripe — it is your proof of purchase. If the download does not start or the link stops working, email us and we will re-send it.
Refunds
If Lilt does not work on your Mac, or you are simply not happy with it, email mu07010@jocoding.net within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund you in full. You do not need to give a reason. Refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. Your licence ends when the refund is issued, and you agree to delete the app.
Because Lilt is delivered digitally and immediately, consumers in the EU and UK are asked at checkout to consent to immediate delivery and to acknowledge that this causes the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal to lapse once the download begins. The 14-day refund offer above is given voluntarily and applies regardless.
Updates and availability
We may release updates that change, add, or remove features. Updates are included at no extra cost while we continue to offer them, but we do not promise any particular update, feature, or future compatibility with a later version of macOS or with new Mac hardware. We may stop selling or supporting Lilt at any time; if we do, the copy you have already downloaded keeps working for as long as your Mac can run it.
Screen Recording permission and your content
Lilt processes desktop frames on your Mac to render the effect. It does not record, store, or upload screen content, and it does not capture audio. You keep all rights to whatever is on your screen. What the app does with the permission, and what the website measures, is described in our Privacy page, which forms part of these terms.
Third-party components
Lilt's depth rendering engine is based on Mac Duo by Makito, used under the Apache License 2.0. That component remains subject to its own licence, which prevails over these terms for that component. macOS, MacBook, and Apple silicon are trademarks of Apple Inc.; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple.
Our intellectual property
Apart from third-party components, the Lilt app, name, logo, website, and marketing materials are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. These terms grant you no right to use our name or logo.
Acceptable use of the website
Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its checkout and download endpoints, interfere with their normal operation, or use automated means to circumvent payment. We may suspend access and revoke a licence obtained through fraud, a chargeback, or circumvention of payment.
No warranty
Lilt is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every configuration. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to Lilt, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, is limited to the amount you actually paid for it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects consumer rights that you have under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
Termination
Your licence ends automatically if you materially breach these terms or if your purchase is refunded or reversed. On termination, stop using the app and delete it. The sections on intellectual property, no warranty, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version always lives at this address, with the date it was last changed at the bottom. Changes apply to purchases made after they are posted; they do not retroactively change the terms of a purchase you have already completed. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — except that if you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections and any right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence under the law that applies there. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
General
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These terms and the Privacy page are the entire agreement between us about Lilt. These terms were written in English and translated for convenience; where a translation and the English version conflict, the English version governs.
